Nov. 6 & 7, Sunday and Monday:
MELBOURNE CIVIC THEATRE will hold auditions 7 p.m. Nov. 6 and 7 for CALENDAR GIRLS. Needed are many women (woo hoo). Six of the women’s roles will be involved in a burlesque style nude scene. THE HENEGAR CENTER is auditioning performers for three musicals this month: IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME and HANDS ON A HARDBODY. Auditions for all three musicals will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 17, 7 p.m. Nov. 18 and 2 p.m. Nov. 19. NOV. 28 & 29:
THE HENEGAR CENTER is holding auditions 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 28 and 29 for “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill.” The show is scheduled to run Feb. 3 to 19 in the Henegar’s second floor Studio Theatre. Needed is a strong singer/actress who is African American and can play a 44 year old. Read more about the expectations by clicking here. This is basically a one-woman show. You are encouraged to drop by the Henegar and read the script ahead of time and to pick up a monologue to prepare. You will not be expected to memorize the monologue. The Henegar is at 625 E. Nov. 28 & 29:
