It’s called AQUA EDITIONS and it’s opening Friday at Brevard’s liveliest arts spot — the Derek Gores Gallery.
“Aqua Editions” is a seaside-inspired art exhibit with an emphasis on how one might best present the art in their environments. The exhibit is formed by works by some of the Space Coast’s best artists and designers who will, as the press release states, present the “intersection of art and design.” You can expect to see unusual presentations of both original art and exquisite reproductions.
The exhibit is more or less a permanent one, with a monthly Designer Vignette. The first designer is Tiffany Wells. Friday’s opening preview features art by Jennifer Glass, Donna Sewell, Morgan Grosskreutz, Christopher Maslow and Mr. Gores.
Helping Mr. Gores will be SARA RUSSO, who will serve as the exhibit’s Design Liaison, working with designers from residential, commercial and institutional arenas.
“Aqua Editions” public preview: Friday, November 4th, 6pm, Free. Derek Gores Gallery is in the Eau Gallie Arts District at 587 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne. Call 321-258-2119 or visit DerekGores.com/gallery.
