A 10-minute version of Jeff Johnson’s play, “The Trial of the Vampire Rapist (A Freudian Farce),” has been selected for the short competition at the Tampa Bay Theatre Festival.

Mr. Johnson, a writing professor at Eastern Florida State College, seeks two men and one woman who would be interested in performing in it.

The performance is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 5. Rehearsal times will be decided in order to accommodate all those involved.

“Short plays will be performed all day, so there’s some good stuff to watch,” Mr. Johnson wrote. “I’m not sure what to do about getting there and expenses but I’ll work that out when I find out who’s interested. I’m planning on staying over there.”
