More than 60 middle schools students have been working long and hard to bring young audiences the musical “Disney’s Peter Pan, Jr.”

The show, directed by Maureen Fallon, is produced by the Henegar Center’s Summer Theatre Workshop. An updated version, it combines music from the Disney movie, tunes from Disney World and some smattering of references to Jack Sparrow from the Disney’s movie, “Pirates of the Caribbean”

You’ll hear the orchestra “warm up” before the curtain, but don’t go looking for the musicians — the music is all taped. Very clever idea, including that tune check.
