A TUNA CHRISTMAS runs through Dec. 24 at Melbourne Civic Theatre. This production will be reviewed soon, but all bets are in that this is a real winner. It has to be, director Peg Girard has two of the area’s best and funniest actors in it — Steve Costner and Michael Thompson who take on 22 roles in this warm-hearted but decidedly off beat comedy. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS opens Tuesday at the Dr Phillips Center in Orlando. The national tour runs through Dec. 18. Based on the 1951 film, this award winning musical features music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin, and a book by Craig Lucas (“The Light in the Piazza”). HOWL AT THE MOON this weekend at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach featuring dualing pianos by Ken Gustafson and Clayton Senne. This fun-packed music-filled evening has shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The shows invite guests to come enjoy a picnic style dinner while listening to some great music, free. TIDINGS OF JOY: A BAROQUE CHRISTMAS with the Brevard Community Chorus performs 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the King Center. This annual event is a favorite among Brevard’s music patrons. Directed by Robert Lamb, it features more than 100 voices and select musicians from the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. Included in the program are Bach’s “Magnificat” and Handel’s “Messiah.” The King Center is at 3865 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne. Tickets are $24 general, $19 seniors and military and $7 students. HOLIDAY CRAFT SHOW runs through Jan. 7 at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery. This is a great spot to pick up unusual gifts for the holidays.
