Well….chances are, most of your getting out this weekend is gonna be to restaurants, the movies, drives to look at holiday lights and parties. But for those cultural stalwarts who simply must have their artsy fix, here goes….

Theater:

A TUNA CHRISTMAS runs through Saturday at Melbourne Civic Theatre. To read a review, click here. In it, Steve Costner and Michael Thompson take on 22 roles in this warm-hearted but decidedly off beat comedy. EVERY CHRISTMAS STORY EVER TOLD (AND THEN SOME) runs through the month at Orlando Shakes. It features three professional actors in an exhaustive look at, well, every Christmas story ever told. Music:

IT WAS A VERY GOOD YULE: AT THE MOVIES runs through tonight at Mad Cow Theatre in Orlando. This is the theater’s annual holiday cabaret. It includes movie music from classic films such as “Scrooged,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “National Lampoons Christmas Vacation” and “Holiday Inn.” And, yes, the show is sold out, but just in case a friend picked up the tickets for you, you owe them at least $15. HOLIDAY DESIGNER CRAFT SHOW runs through Jan. 7 at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery. This is a great spot to pick up unusual gifts for the holidays. The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery is at 1470 Highland Avenue, Melbourne, Florida. Gallery hours during this exhibit will run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
