Tonight, y’all! It starts with the private opening of the “POPULATION” exhibition at the Foosaner Art Museum, then progresses to MUSCLE MEMORY: DANCE/ART/FLOW happening at Derek Gores Gallery, then crescendos with the opening of THE PRICE at Melbourne Civic Theatre. You’ll need a little beach time tomorrow just to recover from all this sheer culture vulture bliss.

THE PRICE at Melbourne Civic Theatre, is a 1968 drama by Arthur Miller. It concerns two estranged brothers who come together to sell heirlooms left by their late father. The production had its dress rehearsal last night and the buzz is happening already. The show opens tonight and runs through June 26 at MCT, 817 E. Strawbridge Ave., Melbourne. MUSCLE MEMORY: DANCE/ART/FLOW runs this evening only at Derek Gores Gallery. I’m calling this theater because it sure sounds like theater to me. IT’S NOT YOU IT’S THEM, an original play by talented Chris Tsocanos, runs this weekend at Surfside Playhouse. The play won this year’s Surfside Playwriting Contest and is subtitled “A play about a man, his girlfriend and the crazy family that loves him.” It performs 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Surfside Playhouse, 301 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach. COMEDY ZONE happens tonight and Saturday night at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach. Again, this is a MUST DO. Truly, if you’ve never been, you’ll go once and get hooked. MARKSTEIN QUARTET with violinist Igor Markstein, cellist Joan Markstein, violinist Joni Roos and violist Carey Moorman will perform “Classical Tops & Favorite Pops” 3 p.m. Sunday, May 22, in Meeting Room #1 at the Central Brevard Library in Cocoa. The concert will include quartet movements by Mozart and Schubert, along with beautiful waltzes, dances and much more. Free. RAY TURNER: POPULATION exhibition opens Saturday at the Foosaner Art Museum. The exhibition comprises 140 portraits of people around the country. And, those portraits include a group of cultural leaders right here in Brevard County. The show is sponsored by John Roach in memory of his wife, Judy. It runs through Aug. 6.
