Exhibits:DEREK GORES: LOCAL EDITION a retrospective of work by Brevard’s popular, award winning and internationally acclaimed artist Derek Gores, opens Saturday and runs through March 23 at Florida Tech’s Foosaner Art Museum. FRIENDS AND FAMILY exhibit The Members Show at Studios of Cocoa Beach. The annual show runs through January 21, 2019. Member artists are displaying the best of their current work. Phyllis Shipley won the Award of Excellence, judged by sponsor Dan Striby of Sterling Photography in Melbourne. Don Martin won the 1st Merit Award and Nicky Ravine won the 2nd. During the show’s opening reception visitors voted for the People’s Choice Award. Best of Show went to Don Martin, with Linda Z receiving the 1st Merit Award and Tony Sasso won the 2nd Merit Award.
