Easter Weekend always brings friends and family to the Space Coast. In addition to sunrise services on the beach, take them to one of the cultural events designed to uplift the soul. There’s a special classical concert Saturday afternoon at Heidi’s Jazz Lounge, a performance of “Jesus Christ Superstar” at Titusville Playhouse and the production of the provocative play “The Christians” at Riverside Theatre.

THREE SISTERS runs through April 16 at Mad Cow Theatre. The Chekhov play looks at Masha, Irina and Olga who live in provincial Russia and long to go to Moscow. As Mad Cow’s website states: “In one of the greatest masterworks of dramatic literature, Anton Chekhov paints a lyrical portrait of missed opportunities, delicate delusions, and the persistence of life despite disappointments.” Tickets are $16 to $40. DISENCHANTED a musical send up of all those Disney princesses, runs through Thursday, April 20 at The Plaza Live Orlando. It performs throughout the week. TOMAS LOPEZ brings a classical touch for a matinee concert 4 p.m. Saturday, April 15 at Heidi’s Jazz Lounge. Along with Michael De Jesus, Yaniv Cohen and Leah Johnson, the troup will perform Grieg quartet no.1 in g minor, Mendelssohn quartet no.6 in f minor. This should be quite an excellent opportunity to hear something unusual in Heidi’s Jazz Lounge — chamber music. Tickets are $20. HOWL AT THE MOON this weekend at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach featuring dualing pianos by Ken Gustafson and Katie Pinder Brown. This fun-packed music-filled evening has shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The shows invite guests to come enjoy a picnic style dinner while listening to some great music, free.
