Stand-up comedian Frankie Paul tonight at Riverside Theatre’s “Comedy Zone”

This is something different and fun — a trip to Vero Beach to take in stand-up comedy at Riverside Theatre’s “Comedy Zone” series.

Tonight’s show features comedians Frankie Charles and John Paul at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. All together, the show runs about 80 minutes.

Stand up comedian John Charles[/caption]While I have not seen either one of these comedians, I have gone to the Comedy Zone before and just loved going. Head there early and enjoy casual dinner (burgers and beer, etc) available from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Riverside’s beautiful outdoor patio….watch the sun dip over the Indian River…listen to live music.

Then head inside Riverside’s (again) beautiful black box theater which is transformed into a most appealing night-club setting. Inside, you sit at little tables, order drinky-poos and have a blast.

Here’s the little caveat Riverside tags onto the Comedy Zone: “Warning: Contains occasional coarse language and adult content.”

General admission is $16. Premium reserved seating is $18. There’s also a VIP Balcony Booth, but you have to call ahead for information on availability and cost. Riverside Theatre is at 3260 Riverside Drive, Vero Beach.
