Allison McKay’s still at it.

Some of you will remember the comedienne, who lived in Brevard for a long time. A professional actress, she did a lot of commercials back in her day, as well as appear on vintage TV shows with luminaries like Sid Caesar, Red Skelton and Milton Berle.

While she lived here, she was in a couple of the many iterations of those “Nunsense” comedies and always managed to bring down the house. She did some work at Surfside Playhouse for Brevard’s answer to a golden follies filled with “dames with gams up to here!”

She also ran a young person’s group.

A few years ago, she packed up and moved to Palm Springs where she put on more shows. I actually met up with her once in Palm Springs.

Most recently, she was sent to Barcelona to star in a commercial for a satellite TV company. And, here’s the commercial. It’s a hoot:
