Two comic legends — John Cleese and Eric Idle — are coming across the pond to tour in their show, “Together Again At Last…For The Very First Time.” One of those shows will be 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando.

The press release has this to say about the Monty Python duo’s American tour: “Yes, most of the shows are in Florida. Yes, this is a deliberate ploy by John & Eric to score a free vacation. Yes, they’re perfectly okay with you knowing that. England is very dreary come October.”

The show will include scripted and improvised bits. There will be “storytelling, musical numbers, exclusive footage, aquatic juggling and an extended audience Q&A to craft a unique comedic experience with every performance.”

Here’s a little video designed to whet those ticket-buying tendencies:

In other words, if there’s not a silly walk nor a wink, wink…then I’d be surprised.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 19, beginning at $59.50. Call 844.513.2014 or visit DrPhillipsCenter.org. Online and phone ticket purchases include handling fees.
