First of all…you’re simply going to have to leave way ahead of time if you want to find parking during what has grown into a weekend long drinkin’ and carousin’ celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. But with some of these beautiful shows being offered, it’s worth the trouble.

Theater:

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER runs through March 25 at the Henegar Center. This is a highly anticipated production. THE SECRET GARDEN runs through March 25 at Cocoa Village Playhouse. This musical is written by Marsha Norman with music by Lucy Simon. It is based on the beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. EVITA runs through March 25 at Surfside Playhouse. This is the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical about Eva Peron. Tickets are $22 to $25. Each ticket has a $1.75 service charge. HEIDI’S JAZZ CLUB presents Steve Kirsner with the Ron Teixeira Trio 8:30 p.m. tonight and Hella 8 p.m. Saturday. In addition to great entertainment, Heidi’s offers a wonderful bar and a super bar menu. This is definitely a favorite sophisticated night spots in Brevard. Exhibits:

CODED COUTURE runs through April 28 at the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts. The interactive exhibition explores the idea of customized fashion in the digital age. The Funk Admission to the center is free. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
