STOMP at King Center

By PAM HARBAUGH

Still unique. Still fun. It’s STOMP and it’s coming to the King Center for two performances April 22.

As the King Center website states: “STOMP is explosive, inventive, provocative, witty, and utterly unique—an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages…The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.”

The troupe has been around for decades and it still thrills audiences.

STOMP performs 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at the King Center, 3825 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne. Tickets start at for the matinee and for the evening performance. Call 321-242-2219, visit KingCenter.com or click on their ad to be taken directly to the Stomp page.
