Leave the world behind and slip into the grace of beautiful music when the award winning ATOS PIANO TRIO performs Friday. It is the first concert of the new season presented by the Melbourne Chamber Music Society.

The ATOS Piano Trio features pianist Thomas Hoppe, violinist Annette von Hehn and cellist Stefan Heinemeyer. On tour from their native Germany, the trio has been harvesting acclaim and recognized by the BBC as one of its “New Generation of Artists” awards.

Their 2016 tour is bringing the Atos to big halls throughout the country, including those in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Chicago. The Washington Post calls them “…one of the elite piano trios playing before the public today.”

Friday’s program includes W.A. Mozart-Trio in Bb Major, KV 502, the Korngold Trio in D Major, Op. 1 and Mendelssohn’s Trio No. 2 in C Minor, Op. 66. (Play video below to sample their performance skill.)

The concert begins 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, in the sanctuary at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 2030 N. Hwy A1A, Indialantic, Florida. Tickets are $35 general and $10 students.
