Tickets go on sale tomorrow for the Fairwinds Broadway in Orlando presentation of the award winning production, “THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME.” The show runs November 1 – 6 in Dr. Phillips Center’s Walt Disney Theater.

The play won five Tony Awards, including best play; six Drama Desk Awards, including outstanding play; five Outer Critics Circle Awards including outstanding new Broadway play; and a Drama League Award.

“The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” was written by Simon Stephens and adapted from a 2003 novel by Mark Haddon. The stage production was directed by Marianne Elliott, who also directed (so brilliantly) “War Horse.” It blossomed to life at the National Theatre in London and eventually made it to the West End. It didn’t take long for it to jump across the pond to New York’s Broadway.

And now, it’s coming to these latitudes.

The play revolves around Christopher, a 15 year old autistic math whiz who sets out to solve the mystery behind the murder of a dog next door. His journey leads him into sensory overload and a life changing experience.
