Screen Shot 2016-06-10 at 12.44.44 PMPETER AND THE STARCATCHER makes its Brevard debut at Titusville Playhouse. The fanciful musical tells the backstory of Peter Pan. It opens tonight and runs two weekends only through June 19. There’s enough imagination in this musical to delight the whole family. Tickets are $22 to $28. Cocoa Village PlayhouseBACK TO THE ’80s will be presented this weekend by Cocoa Village Playhouse’s Stars of Tomorrow. The musical is a teens’ delight, complete with iconic ’80s pop culture. It performs 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Cocoa Village Playhouse is at 300 Brevard Ave., Cocoa. Tickets are $9 to $11. THE PRICE at Melbourne Civic Theatre, is a 1968 drama by Arthur Miller produced with guts and grit by MCT. Read the review by clicking here. The show runs through June 26 at MCT, 817 E. RADICAL ELEMENTS and A VIEW WITHIN: The Collaboration of Two Fiber Artists
runs through Aug. 27 at the Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts. “Radical Elements” comes from the Studio Art Quilt Associates and is sponsored in the memory of Judy Roach. “A View Within” is a collaborative project by Paula Chung and Karen Rips, two artists fascinated by the human body. A SALUTE TO SOUSA will be presented by the Community Band of Brevard, which is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. In addition to John Philip Sousa’s marching music, the concert will include compositions by Georges Bizet, Dimitri Shostakovich and George Gershwin. There now…something for everyone. Led by conductor Marion Scott, the concert begins 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Merritt Island High School performing arts center, 100 Mustang Way, Merritt Island.
