Although the theater season is winding down, there are still three theaters holding auditions for shows. They are, in chronological order:

Surfside Playhouse will hold auditions 7 p.m. Sunday, April 17 and 7 p.m. Monday, April 18 for the winner of its 2016 Playwriting Contest. The winner and director of the play will be announced later. Titusville Playhouse will hold auditions 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 18 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, for “PETER AND THE STARCATCHER.” The show runs June 10 to 19. The cast is mostly adults, but there are some roles for children at least 12 years old. Titusville Playhouse is at 301 Julia St., Titusville. Cocoa Village Playhouse will hold auditions 7 p.m. Monday, May 2 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 for “DREAMGIRLS.” The cast is primarily African American but also has roles for other ethnicities.
