As you continue digesting the feast…you can get your art on at Dr. Sketchy’s “Black Friday Betty.” This is gonna be a participatory happening of sorts. Although planning a happening is an oxymoron. Nevertheless….

With the event’s cash bar, you can have a bit of “drink ‘n draw” experience. There will be a live model. Probably some background music. More than likely a lot of laughs and fun.

This is all part of the underground “anti-art school” movement. Bring your own art supplies, or rent some from the gallery for $5. You can draw, paint, doodle….And if all you like to do is watch, you can do that, too.

It runs from 7 to 9:30 this evening at Derek Gores Gallery, 587 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne… a.k.a. The Eau Gallie Arts District. Admission is $10 online or $15 at the door.
