Gabby Links: Cultural Amuse Bouches

By PAM HARBAUGH

Here are a couple of artsy tidbits to keep you going, at least for a few minutes.

First, is a very cool video where an artist uses lighting and space to puts us visually into a Bach prelude and fugue. It is playful and uplifting and soulfully inspiring. Then, you’ll find information about the movie theater screening of Helen Mirren in her Tony Award winning portrayal of Queen Elizabeth in “The Audience.”

Here’s a link to the artsiest music video you’ll ever see: filmmaker Alan Warburton’s “The Well-Tempered Clavier by J.S. Bach” performed by Pierre-Laurent Aimard.

Now, for Ms. Mirren.

National Theatre Live will present “The Audience” 7 p.m. June 25 in select movie houses around the country. The two closest ones are Indian River 24 in Vero Beach, 6200 20th St., Vero Beach and Waterford Lakes Stadium 20, 541 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando.

Yes, that is a drive, but not so much of one to New York City. Anyway, to whet your appetite, watch this 30 second video:
